🎯Indications▾

Bacterial blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis and corneal ulcer caused by susceptible Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms.

💧Administration▾

Topical ocular instillation into the conjunctival sac; apply ointment by pulling the lower lid and squeezing a 1 cm strip inside, avoiding contact with the eye.

⚖️Dosage▾

1–2 drops every 4 hours (severe infection every hour initially, reducing as it improves); ointment 2–3 times daily; usually no longer than 7–10 days.

⚠️Precautions & Warnings▾

Prolonged use may lead to fungal or resistant bacterial overgrowth and, rarely, local irritation. For ophthalmic use only; aminoglycoside eye drops should not be used long term in patients with corneal epithelial defects.
