🎯Indications▾

Anaerobic and Gram-positive infections, including bone and joint infections; alternative for penicillin-allergic patients.

💧Administration▾

Oral with a full glass of water (avoid supine immediately after dosing); IM/IV injection for severe infection.

⚖️Dosage▾

Lincomycin adults 500 mg every 8 h oral; clindamycin adults 150–450 mg every 6–8 h oral, severe infection 600–900 mg IV every 8 h. Children 8–25 mg/kg/day divided.

⚠️Precautions & Warnings▾

Pseudomembranous colitis risk — discontinue if significant diarrhoea develops. Monitor hepatic and renal function during prolonged therapy.
